THE
ROY AND ROXIE CAMPANELLA
FOUNDATION

The Foundation is supported by fundraising efforts and donations:
The Campanella Golf Classic

In 2001 and 2002, The Campanella Golf Classic moved to the exclusive Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Celebrities and golfers from Las Vegas joined with long-time supporters to provide 14 new scholarships to students in the new physical therapy program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Although the golf classic returns to California in the 2004, the Foundation's presence in Nevada will continue with a new partnership that lends Roy’s name to the first accessible Habitat for Humanity house in Las Vegas to be called “Campy’s House.” A special event to launch this project will be held in early 2004. Please check back for dates and times of this opening and the next Classic as they become finalized.

Email the Foundation if you would like to be advised and/or participate in the next Golf Classic.

Memorabilia Auction

Fall of 2003, Roxie Campanella auctioned off several items of Roy Campanella's baseball memorabilia and raised a considerable amount for the benefit of the Foundation.  Efforts like this continue to keep the Foundation going and Roy and Roxie's spirit alive.

Donations

Finally, the Foundation continues with its work because of generous donations from family and friends and the public at large who wish to help support the efforts of the Foundation, Roy's spirit and the efforts and spirit of Roxie.

If you would like to help, please contact the foundation by phone, email or letter.  If you simply wish to donate to the Foundation, you may do so by writing the Foundation at:
